About the Show

Alice: ‘Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?’
‘That depends a good deal on where you want to get to.’ said the Cat.

One evening, young Alice accidentally stumbles through her looking glass and is transported down into a wondrous realm that is home to all manner of marvelous creatures. Join Alice and meet the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, Humpty Dumpty and of course, the infamous Queen of Hearts with her playing card court as we watch Alice try to make sense of this world of grown-up nonsense. Alice in Wonderland is your passport to a topsy-turvy world on the other side of the mirror, where you have to run fast just to stay in place. Where your memory works backwards and it is possible to believe as many as six impossible things before breakfast.

In late December of 1865, Wonderland was introduced to Alice and her readers by Lewis Carroll, who quickly became one of best-selling books of all time. In honour of this timeless classic, Alchemy Theatre is bringing this beloved story to life in this visually stunning and family friendly production that combines the best moments and characters from both Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There.

Alchemy Theatre presents Alice in Wonderland from December 8th – 18th at Studio 1398, Granville Island, Vancouver. Performances are Thursday – Saturday evenings at 7:00 PM and Saturday – Sunday matinees at 2:00 PM.

**Alice in Wonderland is a family friendly production, however it will be enjoyed by patrons of all ages. Due to the show length this production is not recommended for children under the age of 5.
